Orchesis Dance Company
2018-2022
Orchesis Dance Company is the varsity dance team at Corona del Mar High School. It is an year-round sport and art. Throughout the school year, a group of 20 dancers train 12 hours a week in preparation for upcoming performances. Events include: Back to School Night, Dancing with the Teachers, CdM pep rallies, football games, intermediate dance show, and annual student choreographed Orchesis dance production.
The bond and connection that was made while dancing with this team will be treasured.

2007 - 2019
Beginning at four years old, I launched my dance career with Creative Dance. Continued with classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Tumbling, Musical Theatre and Technique to present day. At age 6, I was recruited to join the competition team at the studio performing on average 7 dances a year. Starting in small and large groups and progressed to solos, duos and trios adding to my repertoire. Each dance season we competed at 4 competitions and attended 2 dance conventions.
Dance has brought me a multitude of positive attributes helping me grow into the person I am today. It has taught me patience, discipline, creativity, endurance, coordination and friendships.
